The branding letters have been designed to fit on most grills. The product is not adjustable. It is constructed of solid cast iron to aid in the heat transfer. It has been designed with a two (2) inch width which will fit most barbeques. Its is designed to fit on all grills, however it is not adjustable because it is made out of steel. This design fits all the grills that during the design stages.

In the event that the branding letters do not fit the gap on your grill, lay the
letters on the gap between the grill sections on your barbeque. At this point the
grill sections can be moved slightly.

No, searing the meat with the branding letters is very simple. However, there are several steps to insure a good brand on your steak.

The meat can be cooked on the letters just as you would cook it on one side.
It can be placed on the letters first, or after one side of the meat has been grilled.
As with anything, experience is the best teacher. Throw on some burgers a few days before the “Big Party” and experiment.

Potatoes can be branded, but the flat surface is best. So bake them, split them and brand them.
Fish can be branded, but is easily broken., as it often is at any grilling.

7. Can I brand indoors in my oven? Back to Top
Yes, the branding letters can be used in a standard oven. Hang the letters on the grill in the oven, heat it to 400 or more. The meat will need to be placed directly on the oven grill. Be sure to put a pan on the second shelf underneath the meat and then meat can be branded indoors also. Do not leave the oven unattended.

Both are similar in that they both seer the meet with letters. However, that is where the similarity ends. Long branding irons are cumbersome while grilling. You must remove the grill to get the irons near the heat. Also the letters are not interchangeable. Brand by Name allows you to have numerous combinations of letters and even spell out names. The letters can be hotter than the grill, since they draw heat from below the grill.
